Donna Heinzen MS, PA-C

Donna Heinzen MS, PA-C earned her Masters degree at the first Physicians Assistant program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and Seton Hall University. She has been with the Infectious Disease Center of New Jersey since 2012. Prior to joining the IDCNJ, Donna practiced in a variety of settings, including Family Health and Urgent Care. Donna loves the variety of problems, challenges, and patients. Infectious disease is a field where boredom is never an issue.

She has been on medical missions in Honduras post Hurricane Mitch, and in Mississippi with Americorp post Hurricane Katrina. Donna Heinzen is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the Board of Health in Glen Ridge, New Jersey.
She is married, has four children, and an incredibly cute little black and white dog named Oreo.
