Abigail Santos, MD

Dr. Santos earned her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine
and Surgery in Manila, Philippines. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the
University of Hawaiʻi in Honolulu, followed by a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Rush
University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Santos is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases and is an active
member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America. Her practice is guided by a strong
commitment to patient education, with a focus on helping individuals understand their health
conditions and empowering them to make informed decisions about their care. Her clinical
interests include HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, wound care, fungal infections,
device-related infections, multidrug-resistant organisms, and antimicrobial and diagnostic
stewardship.
